$6,500 scholarship
Submissions are judged on four things: the depth and originality of the research, the quality of the analysis, the clarity of the writing, and the potential significance or impact of the work.
Depth and originality
How far the work goes beyond summarizing existing knowledge, and whether it offers a genuinely original angle, question, or finding.
Quality of analysis
How rigorously the research is conducted and reasoned through, from method to conclusion.
Clarity of writing
Whether the paper communicates complex ideas precisely and is genuinely readable, not just technically correct.
Significance and impact
The potential importance of the work — what it could mean for its field, or for how a reader understands the topic.
This is an international competition, open to students worldwide. Submit one original research article or academic paper on any STEM topic — the field and specific subject are your choice.
